Goodies in the mail! Thanks, Pat & the Silver Thimble Quilt Co!

I posted here on September 29th about a giveaway I won that Pat Wys at Silver Thimble Talk hosted for her 200th post. I came home this afternoon and had a package in the mail…..there is NOTHING like a package in the mail, if you know what I mean!

Here are the WONDERFUL goodies that I won – Silver Thimble goodies

Notice the three patterns at the top of the photo? Those are three of Pat’s original patterns and they are gorgeous! I love the wonky strip quilt “How Does Your Garden Grow” but then I adore bright colors. The “Twinkle Twinkle” pattern has Christmas tree lights in the border and even gives table runner size directions for a really quick Christmas gift (now how did Pat know I was looking for Christmas gift ideas?!). The third pattern is called “Georgia Hoe Down” and gives a really cool illusion of curves but is all straight piecing.

Those little packages at the front are for a little sewing wall hanging that is just adorable and is by Bareroots. You can’t see it from the photo, but the letters spell “SEWING” – the “s” is made up of thread and needle, the “e” is a measuring tape, the “W” is made up of two really cute pairs of scissors, the “i” from a rotary cutter, the “n” from a wooden spool and thread, and the “g” from an old fashioned tomato-type pincushion. So cute and ingenious!

But the really fun part is the oh so luscious Crazy Eight Layer Cake by Moda. What a fun bunch of fabrics with a Christmas theme and at a perfect time of the year! Ooo-la-la!

Thank you so much, Pat, for the fun and inspiration that came with your package! I look forward to more of your blog in the future!
