Customer quilts….

I haven’t taken time to post any of the customer quilts I finished up this spring, so thought I would start sharing some of them with you.

Marcia H's quiltThis quilt was pieced by Marcia H., a golfing buddy of my mom’s who also goes to my church. This is for her nephew who was getting married. Marcia designed the quilt herself.

block quiltingI did a simple custom quilt job on it to enhance the hearts. the “Love” fabric is meandered and has freehand hearts thrown in. The lighter background behind the hearts is meandered.border and binding

All the interior quilting was curvy, so I wanted to do a simple straight line in the border. Notice I also have started putting the binding on while the quilt is still on my longarm? I love doing it that way!

  1. Very nice. I tried putting binding on while on LA, but if the piecer does not have a square top, it drives me crazy to put a binding on a whoppy-jawed quilt. I like the double stitched piano keys on the border.
